REALTORS® have extensive knowledge of the financing choices available to home buyers and can provide information on obtaining financing at the most attractive rates and terms.

 

A Skilled Negotiator

 

REALTORS® are experienced in arranging fair deals. He or she will assist in negotiating an offer, acting as a mediator to head off potential conflicts between you and the seller, and draw up a legally binding agreement.

Licensed REALTORS® in our province are required to be members of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA). When you work with a licensed REALTOR®, you can expect not only strict adherence to provincial laws, but also adherence to a Code of Ethics. Highest Professional Standards

 

Before earning a real estate license, candidates must successfully complete an extensive course of study developed by OREA on behalf of the Real Estate Council Ontario. Plus, in the first two years of practice, licensees are required to successfully complete additional courses as part of their articling with an experienced broker. In addition, all licensees must continue to attend courses throughout their careers in order to maintain their license.

  5. May I see all the paperwork that you are going to ask me to sign?
  6. What professional designations do you have?
  7. I want to give my home the advantage of the latest marketing strategies. How much time and money do you invest each month in professional training?
  8. Why are you personally motivated to sell my house?
  9. Why should I list with you rather than any other REALTOR® who is contacting me?
  10. What kind of experience and training do you have in negotiations?
  11. How many homes do you sell in a year?
  12. Will you personally be there when contracts are presented and handle all the negotiations?
  13. Do you have a website?
  14. Will you directly market the property on the Internet?
  15. Do you follow-up on all showings on the house and report the comments back to me?
